1. Dr. Menezes was recognized by the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons Section on Pediatric Neurological Surgery.
2. Dr. Menezes has been designing neurosurgical procedures targeting the base of the skull since the late 1970s. He’s treated more than 7,000 patients and has built one of the largest databases in history to track disorders of the craniocervical region.
3. Throughout his career, Dr. Menezes has authored 240 peer-reviewed manuscripts, 130 textbook chapters and four complete textbooks, including the first on spinal neurosurgery.
