Dr. Ara Deukmedjian Presents Research on Deuk Laser Cervical Spine Repair

Ara Deukmedjian, MD, co-authored a technical paper on cervical Deuk Laser Disc Repair, including evidence of herniated cervical disc and pictures of removed material.

Since 2008, 142 patients have received Deuk Laser Disc Repair, advantages of which include lowered cost, smaller incision, quicker recovery and no metal implants. Fewer complications have arisen from this procedure than from historical spinal fusions.

Dr. Deukmedjian and his research team had their work published in the Surgical Neurology International journal.
