1. Dr. Rinella’s first trip to Colombia was in 2004. Since then, he’s been back to Colombia many times and other areas around the globe to treat patients with spinal conditions.
2. He co-founded the Global Spine Outreach to help people around the world who don’t have access to quality care.
3. Dr. Rinella founded the Illinois Spine & Scoliosis Center in Homer Glen.
4. The Scoliosis Research Society awarded Dr. Rinella the Walter P. Blount Humanitarian Award in 2012.
5. Dr. Rinella completed an adult and pediatric spinal surgery fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis.
