The patient had leg pain from an L5-S1 spondylolisthesis, the post said. Dr. Mesiwala used the KG2 Surge system to restore the patient’s disc height.

“I’ve been using the KG 2 fusion system from Kleiner Device Labs as my go to TLIF implant for the last couple of years,” Dr. Mesiwala said in the post. “The single use tray, step consolidation and broad grafting options encouraged me to do the first T-LIF at the DISC Thousand Oaks ASC.”

KG2 Surge integrates bone graft delivery in the interbody device, according to Kleiner Device Labs’ website.
