Dr. Adaku Nwachuku to treat patients at new American Spine office: 5 things to know

American Spine will open its new satellite office in Silver Springs, Md., on March 4.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. Adaku Nwachuku, DO, specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation.

 

2. She treats lower back pain, neck pain and joint-related pain, through interventional pain procedures, pharmacotherapy and biomechanics restorative therapy.

 

3. After earning her medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glen Head, Dr. Nwachuku completed an internship at Long Beach (N.Y.) Medical Center. She then completed her physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, N.Y.

 

4. Dr. Nwachuku also completed a musculoskeletal and interventional pain fellowship at Rehab NY in Amherst.

 

5. The new office is accepting referrals and new patients for pain management and orthopedic appointments.
