Here are five things to know:
1. The center offers deep-brain stimulation and treatments for spinal cord pain, aneurisms, back problems, migraines, numbness and weakness.
2. Neurosurgeons David Bybee, MD, Benjamin Remington, MD, and Gregory Helbig, MD, offer services at the new center.
3. The neurosurgeons also help out the hospital by responding to calls for injured or sick patients in the emergency room.
4. The center expects to expand its services to include pain management and neuro-oncology.
5. The center was named for John Darroch, MD, who first offered neurosurgery services in Modesto in 1965.
