Scottsdale Ariz.-based Desert Spine and Sports Physicians’ fellowship program has graduated 22 fellows since its founding in 2011, and all went on to place at competitive practice and academic roles.
The practice’s fellowship is on of a few nationally recognized programs recognized by the North American Spine Society, according to an Aug. 25 news release shared with Becker’s.
Each fellowship class included up to four fellows who begin training in July and August. The physicians work directly under the practice in areas including chronic pain management, fluoroscopically-guided spine and orthopedic procedures, regenerative medicine and business training. Fellows also are involved with journals, clubs and lectures.
Desert Spine and Sports Physicians has six Arizona office locations in Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Mesa.
