DePuy Synthes’ Dr. John Pracyk joins Medical Affairs Professional Society

The Medical Affairs Professional Society has appointed John Pracyk, MD, PhD, to its board of directors, according to a July 8 news release.

Three things to know:

1. Dr. Pracyk, a neurological surgeon, joins as president of the Americas Region.

2. At DePuy Synthes Spine, he serves as the integrated leader of preclinical and clinical research and medical affairs, where he is responsible for R&D, medical safety and regulatory affairs, among other areas.

3. Dr. Pracyk earned his MD and PhD degrees at Duke University’s Medical Scientist Training Program in Durham, N.C.
