Delray Medical Center Acquires Renaissance Robotic Guidance System for Spine Surgery

Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, Fla., announced that it has acquired the minimally invasive Mazor Robotics’ Renaissance guidance system.

Surgeons use the Renaissance system before surgery to plan the optimal surgery in a CT-based 3D simulation of the patient’s spine. During the surgery, the Renaissance system guides the surgeon’s hand and the tools to the precise pre-planned location.
