Here are four observations:
1. Chanda Hinton-Leichtle founded the nonprofit in 2005. She was paralyzed at age nine from a stray bullet.
2. The foundation offers patients access to primary care physicians, mental health services, traditional medical services and alternative therapies.
3. Patients may receive acupuncture or massage as well as try yoga to relieve pain.
4. The foundation currently serves about 200 clients.
