Colorado hospital adds spine surgeon

Montrose (Colo.) Regional Health added Rasheed Abiola, MD, and he is joining MRH Spine and Pain Center on June 9.

Dr. Abiola has nine years of experience in spine surgery, and he has expertise in minimally invasive techniques and motion-preserving care, the hospital said in a May 21 news release. He previously worked at Mendelson Kornblum Orthopedics at Synergy Health Partners in Troy, Mich.

He earned his medical degree at Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago and completed his residency at University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City.
