Chinese Stroke Association, BMJ partner for access journal in China: 5 key notes

BMJ partnered with the Chinese Stroke Association to produce a new open access journal focused on stroke and vascular neurology.

Here are five key notes:

 

1. The Stroke and Vascular Neurology journal is BMJ’s first publishing venture in the People’s Republic of China.

 

2. The Chinese Stroke Association will own the journal but published by BMJ.

 

3. The journal will launch in February 2016 with Professor Yongjun Wang of Tiantan Hospital in Beijing as editor-in-chief.

 

4. This will be the official journal of the CSA and will have a global focus.

 

5. The editorial board draws on the expertise from Asia, Australia, Europe and North America.
