Chicago’s Weiss Memorial Hospital Opening Chicago Spine Center

Weiss Memorial Hospital recently opened the Chicago Spine Center, headed by Purnendu Gupta, MD, an associate professor of orthopedics and rehabilitation medicine at the University of Chicago, according to a hospital news release.

The new center will include academic specialists in spine surgery, pain management, rehabilitation, physical therapy and occupational therapy. The services will also include comprehensive nursing care and case management.

The Chicago Spine Center at Weiss will treat patients with spinal disorders who need either complex surgery or minimally invasive procedures.
