Banner Fort Collins (Colo.) Medical Center will open more than 10,000 square feet of clinical space to support orthopedic and spine surgery, with a dedication ceremony set for March 31.
The expansion includes a new location for the Joint Replacement Center of Northern Colorado, with nine exam rooms, two X-ray suites and clinical support space to streamline diagnosis through recovery, according to a March 24 news release.
A spine-focused neurosurgery clinic led by Eric Arias, MD, and Jocelyn Grigsby, PA-C, will treat conditions such as herniated discs, spinal stenosis and instability. The team previously launched Banner’s neurosurgery program in Greeley, Colo., and now expands services to Fort Collins.
The project adds a fourth operating room and updated infrastructure to meet growing surgical demand, according to the release.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
