Aurora Spine earns 2 US patents

Aurora Spine earned two independent patents by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, according to a Jan. 8 news release.

Patent No. 12,478,411 B2, spinal implant for motion preservation or fusion, is the 10th U.S. patent supporting the company’s Zip portfolio. It expands the protected design space around Aurora Spine’s platform.

Patent No. 12,478,481 B2, bone density scan result-matched orthopedic implants and methods of use, is the third patent issued for Aurora Spine’s technology for DEXA measurements.

Both patents are now enforceable in the U.S.
