The Association of Bone and Joint Surgeons is an organization that aims to advance the science and practice of orthopedic surgery. Dr. Albert is the surgeon-in-chief and medical director and Korein-Wilson Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
Dr. Albert also serves as the chairman of the department of orthopedic surgery and professor of orthopedic surgery at Weill Cornell Medical Center. He has a special interest in minimally invasive spine surgery, cervical spine surgery and image guided technologies for spinal disorders. He is a past president of the Cervical Spine Research Society and International Meeting of Advanced Spinal Techniques for the Scoliosis Research Society.
