Little Rock-based University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences recently welcomed neurosurgeons Dagoberto Estevez-Ordonez, MD, PhD, and Hussam Abou-Al-Shaar, MD, to the UAMS College of Medicine Department of Neurosurgery.
Dr. Estevez-Ordonez is the assistant director of UAMS’ neurosurgical skills laboratory and specializes in surgery for brain and skull-base tumors, according to a Sept. 14 press release.
Dr. Abou-Al-Shaar is the director of skull-base neurosurgery, director of the neurosurgical skills lab and associate residency program director at UAMS. He specializes in skull-base tumors and cerebrovascular neurosurgery.
Both physicians will see patients at the UAMS Health Neurosurgery Clinic.
