Altair Health names new CEO

Morristown, N.J.-based Altair Health, a physician-managed health system focusing on spine care, named Kyle Nelson as CEO.

Four things to know:

1. Previously Mr. Nelson served as CEO at The Orthopedic Clinic Association in Phoenix and Colorado Springs (Colo.) Orthopaedic Group.

2. Most recently, he was president and CEO of his own healthcare consulting practice, Kyle Nelson Consulting in Cottage Grove, Minn.

3. Altair Health operates a medical center in Morristown and an ASC in Florham Park, N.J., opened in June and August respectively.

4. Neurosurgeons from Morristown-based Atlantic NeuroSurgical Specialists provide care at the facilities.
