Minneapolis-based Allina Health Neuroscience, Spine and Pain Institute named Ram Sankaraneni, MD, as president after he held the interim role for almost a year.
Dr. Sankaraneni, a neurologist, will oversee strategic development and operational oversight of the Institute, according to a Nov. 12 news release. He joined Allina in October 2023 and held several leadership roles within the Institute.
“I am honored to lead the Institute and work alongside such a talented and compassionate team. The Residency Program is a point of pride, reflecting my personal passion for medical education and making neurology engaging and inspiring to those interested in pursuing this fascinating field,” he said in the release.
