Alaska Native Medical Center Names Dr. Roland Torres Clinical Director

Roland Torres, MD, FAANS, FACS, has been named the clinical director of Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, a role that places him in charge of the center’s neurosurgery program.

Dr. Torres, board-certified neurosurgeon, also currently serves on the executive committee for the American Association of Neurological Surgery Congress of Neurological Surgery section for Neurotrauma.

Prior to assuming his current role at ANMC, Dr. Torres served as chief of neurosurgery and neurotrauma director at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, Calif., and a clinical associate professor of neurosurgery at Stanford (Calif.) University Medical Center.
