Advocate Health adds spine surgeon

Spinal neurosurgeon Zayed Almadidy, MD, joined Advocate Health Neurosurgery, the program’s direector Dean Karahalios, MD, said in an Aug. 19 LinkedIn post.

Dr. Almadidy will work at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Ill. starting in October. He has fellowship training in spinal deformity surgery and minimally invasive spine surgery.

He earned his medical degree at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and completed his residency at the University of Illinois Chicago.
