Bloomfield, Conn.-based Advanced Orthopedics New England has added spine surgeon Alex Ha, MD, to its office as part of an expansion across central Connecticut, according to an Aug. 28 report by we-ha.com.
Dr. Ha specializes in adult spinal deformity, scoliosis, congenital abnormalities, degenerative spine disease and revision spine surgery. He brings expertise in traditional and advanced surgical approaches, including endoscopic spine surgery, which uses incisions smaller than a penny to aid recovery. He also treats conditions such as herniated discs, spinal instability and chronic back pain.
Dr. Ha completed a fellowship in adult and pediatric comprehensive spine surgery at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. He performs procedures at St. Francis Hospital and Lighthouse Surgery Center, both in Hartford, Conn.
