AANS Names Dr. William Couldwell President

At the 2013 Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, William T. Couldwell, MD, PhD, FAANS, was named as the AANS 2013-2014 president.

Dr. Couldwell currently serves as a professor and the chairman of neurosurgery at the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City. He has previously served as the AANS president-elect and on the association’s board of directors.

The 2013 AANS Annual Scientific Meeting is being held in New Orleans April 27 to May 1.
