AANS/CNS to Congress: Support Traumatic Brain Injury Reauthorization Act of 2013

The American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Congress of Neurological Surgeons co-signed a letter with five other organizations in support of the Traumatic Brain Injury Reauthorization Act of 2013.

The letter to the Committee on Energy and Commerce supports the passage of the Act, which reauthorizes funding for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to conduct brain injury surveillance, among other activities. The legislation would also fund National Institutes of Health research.
