Minnesota hospital adds spine surgery services

Community Memorial Hospital in Cloquet, Minn. launched its new spine surgery program, led by two independent neurosurgeons, ABC affiliate WDIO reported Jan. 15.

Mattew Davies, MD, and Jared Broadway, MD, will provide spine services at the hospital, the report said. The hospital’s program includes navigation technology to increase surgical precision and reduce radiation exposure.

Dr. Davies is a partner at Orthopaedic Associates of Duluth (Minn.), and Dr. Broadway owns Northern Neurosurgery & Spine in West Fargo, N.D., according to the hospital’s website.
