Zachary NaPier, MD, joined Indiana Spine Group, the Carmel-based practice said in an Oct. 12 Facebook post.
Dr. NaPier is working out of the practice's Lafayette, Ind. location. He has expertise in prone transpsoas lateral interbody fusion and has taugt the technique to other surgeons. Recently, he published a case series on PTP LIF in the North American Spine Society Journal and presented on the technique.
He earned his medical degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and completed his residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. NaPier also completed a spine fellowship at Harvard Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
