5 points on the updated spine radiosurgery edition

1. The edition includes discussion about devices, treatment planning techniques, target definition and patient selection.

 

2. The radiobiology as well as the physics and techniques sections have been updated.

 

3. The updated edition includes a new section on spine metastases.

 

4. The book is intended for clinicians, fellows and residents in neurosurgery and radiation oncology. Spine surgeons, orthopedists, medical physicists and oncologists may also find the book useful.

 

5. Peter Gerszten, MD, MPH, FACS, of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and Samuel Ryu, MD, of Stony Brook University School of Medicine in New York authored the edition.
