IntelGenx, a Montreal, Canada-based drug delivery company, created a scientific advisory board with Ludwig Aigner, PhD, and Barry Greenberg, PhD.

Here are five points:

 

1. Neuroscientist Dr. Ludwig Aigner specializes in brain and spinal cord regeneration.

 

2. Dr. Aigner discovered that nerve fiber growth could be re-induced in the adult central nervous system through a certain protein expression. 

 

3. He currently serves as a professor and head of the Institute of Molecular Regenerative Medicine at the Paracelsus Medical University in Salzburg, Austria. Dr. Aigner is president of the Austrian Neuroscience Association and a scientific board member of Wings for Life, a spinal cord injury foundation.

 

4. Dr. Barry Greenberg specializes in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.

 

5. He has experience in neurological disease’s drug discovery process.
