1. The participating hospitals include:

 

• Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
• Mercy Spine Center in Springfield, Mo.
• Orlando (Fla.) Health Neurosurgery
• WellStar Health System in Marietta, Ga.
• Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, N.Y.

 

2. The Quality Outcomes Database is a national clinical registry for neurosurgical procedures and practice patterns.

 

3. NeuroPoint Alliance keeps a pulse on the quality of common neurosurgical procedures through its database.

 

4. Neurosurgeons, practices, hospitals and health systems may access the database to analyze and report the quality of their neurosurgical services.

 

5. The Quality Outcomes Database’s lumbar spine surgery segment currently draws 80-plus centers.

 

6. Seventy centers are currently participating in the cervical spine database.

 

7. NeuroPoint Alliance also offers the spinal deformity quality database and the neurovascular quality database. The company will unveil the tumor database in 2018.
