2. Researchers with New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery found the combination of oral ketamine and aspirin is a safe form of pain medication after total knee replacement.

3. Spinal Simplicity’s Minuteman spinal fusion device was found to be safe and effective in a real-world setting, according to a study published in The Journal of Pain Research.

4. Researchers at New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery and Weill Cornell Medicine discovered a new stem cell that could affect spine care. The findings, published in Nature, uncovered vetebral stem cells that are uniquely present in the spine.
