4 female spine physicians under 40 to know

The North American Spine Society has named four female physicians to its 2022 list of spine care honorees under 40 years old.

1. Christina Cheng, MD. University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center: Dr. Cheng is a spine surgeon in Cleveland and an assistant professor of orthopedics at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She specializes in disorders of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. 

2. Adele Meron, MD. University of Colorado (Denver): Dr. Meron works for the University of Colorado health system specializing in athletic and physical medicine and rehabilitation. She works at the clinic’s Denver and Aurora locations. 

3. Lindsay Tetreault, MD. New York University Langone (New York City): Dr. Tetreault is a neurology resident at NYU Langone Health. She will graduate from the program in 2025. 

4. Alyssa Troutner. VA Finger Lakes Healthcare System (Rochester, N.Y.): Ms. Troutner is a chiropractor with the health system, where she has worked for over two years. She received her doctor of chiropractic from Chesterfield, Mo.-based Logan University.
