Dr. Smirherman will join Lucas Bradley, MD, and Allan Gocio, MD, on the team, according to an Aug. 5 announcement in the Baxter Bulletin.
Dr. Smitherman received his medical degree at the Augusta-based Medical College of Georgia, and he completed a neurosurgery spine fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
