1. Carrell Clinic surgeon Andrew Dossett, MD, performed lumbar spine surgery on Michael Porter Jr., a forward for the Denver Nuggets, in Dallas.
2. Jon Yoon, MD, a surgeon at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, performed back surgery on Sean Couturier of the Philadelphia Flyers in February. Dr. Yoon also replaced a cervical disc on fellow Flyers player Joel Farabee In June.
3. Robert Watkins IV, MD, performed a microdiscectomy to address a herniated disc on Brooklyn Nets forward Ben Simmons at Cedars-Sinai Marina Del Rey Hospital in Los Angeles. He also performed a lumbar discectomy on Las Vegas Golden Knights player Mark Stone.
