3 neurosurgeons accepting new roles

Here are three neurosurgeons taking on new roles.

Hampton, Va.-based Sentara CarePlex Hospital expanded its neurosurgery services which will be led by Tina Rodrigue, MD. The hospital will provide patients with surgical treatment for spine and brain disorders including neuro-oncology and neurotrauma.

Matthew Gnirke, MD, will join Vail (Colo.) Summit Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery in August. He treats a range of musculoskeletal conditions with orthobiologic treatments such as platelet rich plasma and bone marrow aspirate concentrate stem cells.

Geocann appointed Anthony Petraglia, MD, to its medical and scientific advisory board. Dr. Petraglia is a neurosurgeon and executive director of the Rochester (N.Y.) Regional Health Concussion Program and specializes in spine and brain surgery with a subspecialty in sports-related neurological injuries.
