Pediatric orthopedic surgeon Verena Schreiber, MD, and spine surgeon Jeffrey Wang, MD, are among eight surgeons tapped globally to work with Bioretec’s executve team, according to a news release. The company is focused on developing biodegradable orthopedic implants.
Dr. Schreiber is a surgeon at the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Orthopedic, Sports Health, and Spine Institute in Miami, Fla. Dr. Wang is co-director of the USC Spine Center in Los Angeles.
