Tyler Smith, MD, of Roseville, Calif.-based Sutter Health finished his 50th surgery with Xvision, Augmedics said in a March 28 tweet. Hilary Onyiuke, MD, director of Farmington, Conn.-based UConn Health’s spine center, completed his 100th Xvision surgery, Augmedics said April 7.

Xvision is an AR-powered, system that allows surgeons free movement within the operating room, improving surgery outcomes and eliminating surgeon attention shift between screens.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
