20 Spine Surgeons & Specialists on the Move

 Here are 20 spine surgeons and neurospine surgeons recently joining new practices or receiving new titles.

 

University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio announced the addition of orthopedic spine surgeon Zachary Child, MD.

 

Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based UnityPoint Clinic welcomed neurosurgeon Jaime Gasco, MD, who focuses on brain surgery, neurosurgery, spinal cord injury and spine surgery.

 

Temple, Texas-based Scott & White Healthcare appointed Jason H. Huang, MD, chairman of the department of neurosurgery.

 

Seattle-based The Polyclinic announced the addition of orthopedic spine surgeon Sean Keem, MD, to its medical staff.

 

Leonard Kibuule, MD, an orthopedic spine surgeon, is now a partner at Southlake-based Spine Team Texas.

 

Lawrenceville, Ga.-based Gwinnett Medical Group announced the addition of Matthew M. Kimball, MD, to medical staff at The Brain & Spine Institute in Lawrenceville.

 

The Semmes-Murphey Clinic in Memphis, Tenn., added Paul Klimo, MD, to its medical staff. Earlier this year, it also welcomed John D. Brophy, MD, and LaVerne R. Lovell, MD. The have a special interest in microsurgery for ruptured discs, ACDF and complex lumbar and cervical instrumentation and fusion.

 

Dallas-based North American Spine announced the addition of orthopedic spine surgeons Mark Kuper, DO, and Jeffrey Wingate, MD, to its physician team.

 

Neurosurgical Associates of Abington (Pa.) announced the addition of Douglas W. Laske, MD, to its physician team.
 
Marius Maxwell, MD, founded a new spine center — Arctic Spine — in Anchorage, Alaska.
   
Morristown, N.J.-based Atlantic NeuroSurgical Specialists announced the addition of Yaron A. Moshel, MD, PhD, to its physician team.
 
Northwestern Lake Forest (Ill.) Hospital announced the addition of neurosurgeon Adebukola Onibokun, MD, to its medical staff.
 
St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Ill., announced the appointment of orthopedic spine surgeon Bernard Rerri, MD, to its medical staff.

 

Eric R. Ritchie, MD, a pediatric orthopedic and spine surgeon practicing at the Children's Orthopaedic & Spine Center in San Antonio, will be seeing patients in a satellite office in Boerne, Texas.

 

Tampa, Fla.-based Laser Spine Institute announced the addition of orthopedic spine surgeon, William Sukovich, MD, to its surgical center in Philadelphia.
    
Neurospine surgeon Jamal Taha, MD, joined the Minimally Invasive Spine Institute in Cincinnati.

 

Hoan Tran, MD, a neurosurgeon with a focus on degenerative spine conditions, spinal oncology and minimally invasive spine surgery, joined Sunnyside (W.Va.) Community Hospital and Specialty Center Surgical Group.
