FirstHealth of the Carolinas, University of North Carolina Expand Neurosurgical Partnership

Pinehurst, N.C.-based FirstHealth of the Carolinas announced it has expanded its neurosurgical partnership with University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with the addition of pediatric neurosurgical services to FirstHealth UNC Neurosurgery in Pinehurst.

Scott Wentworth Elton, MD, a pediatric neurosurgeon, and pediatric nurse practitioners, are available to see patients at the Pinehurst office. Dr. Elton has completed a fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at Children’s Hospital of Alabama in Birmingham.
