Here are ten new surgery centers, spine centers and neurosurgery centers opened or announced in January.

Spine specialist Steven Svabek, DO, recently opened the doors to his new office at the Orthopedic and Spine Center in Margate, Fla.

New York Spine Specialists, the practice of Sebastian Lattuga, MD, has opened a new facility in Manhattan.

DISC Sports & Spine Center, based in Marina del Rey, Calif., recently opened a new location in Newport Beach that includes an ambulatory surgery center.

The eight-story Foster Medical Pavilion at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago will house an outpatient surgery center and physician offices for more than 40 specialties, including spine.

John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital in Phoenix opened it’s nearly $9 million Specialty Surgical Care area Jan. 9, which includes private rooms for elective spine, neurosurgery, orthopedic and urology patients.

Southcoast Health System in New Bedford, Mass., recently unveiled the Southcoast Brain & Spine Center.

Meridian Surgical Partners opened a new spine-focused ASC in Dallas, the Institute for Minimally Invasive Surgery, founded through a partnership between Meridian Surgical Partners and local physicians and surgeons.
