wetzel f profileF. Todd Wetzel, MD (Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia). Dr. Wetzel is vice chair of orthopedic surgery and sports medicine at Temple University Hospital. Dr. Wetzel has been on the board of directors for the North American Spine Society and active in the organization's professional conduct and ethics committee.


Dr. Wetzel has a special interest in cervical herniated discs, cervical spine diseases and lumbar spinal disease. He is also a professor of orthopedic surgery and neurosurgery, and directs the Temple Health Jeans Hospital Spine Center. 


Dr. Wetzel earned his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania Medical School and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Yale University in New Haven, Conn. His additional training includes a spinal reconstructive surgery fellowship at St. Charles General Hospital and Tulane University in New Orleans.
