Burak Ozgur, MD (ONE Brain and Spine Center, Newport Beach, Calif.).

Dr. Ozgur is the founder and director of ONE Brain and Spine Center. He is also chief of neurosurgery spine program at Hoag Hospital Newport Beach, which he helped build. He previously provided neurosurgical care at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, prior to which, he served as director of DISC Sports and Spine Center in Newport Beach.


Dr. Ozgur also previously served as an assistant professor of clinical neurosurgery, director of spinal neurosurgery and co-director of the University of California, Irvine Multidisciplinary Comprehensive Spine Program. His research is focused on minimally invasive spine surgery and he's authored a surgery book. Dr. Ozgur is a member of the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery and North American Spine Society.


Dr. Ozgur earned his medical degree at the University of Vermont College of Medicine and completed his residency in neurosurgery and the orthopedic surgery/neurosurgery spine fellowship at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center.
