Hal Silcox III, MD (Peachtree Orthopaedic Clinic, Duluth, Ga.). Dr. Silcox is an orthopedic spine surgeon at Peachtree Orthopaedic. He joined the practice in 2001 after practicing at The Emory Clinic and The Emory Spine Center for nine years, serving as chief of spine surgery at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.


He also previously served as the resident and spine surgery fellowship education coordinator at Emory University School of Medicine. In addition to his clinical practice, he focuses on research and has been the principal investigator in the state of Georgia for two FDA investigational device exception studies. He was also a volunteer physician for the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta.


Dr. Silcox earned his medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals. His additional training includes a spine surgery fellowship at Emory University Affiliate Hospitals.
