Morgan LorioMorgan Lorio, MD (Neuro-Spine Solution, PC, Bristol, Tenn.). Dr. Lorio is in private practice with Neuro-Spine Solutions. He has been on the forefront of spine patient advocacy, helping to jump-start the charitable organization Spine Hope and moving forward initiatives with the International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery.


Dr. Lorio has been instrumental with spine coverage recommendations for ISASS and helped the organization gain a seat at the American Medical Society's House of Delegates, which makes recommendations for CPT coverage. He has a special interest in minimally invasive spine surgery and introduced no-stick, no dye MRI myelography in Louisiana. He was the first surgeon in Louisiana to perform microendoscopic discectomy and among the first to implant Interpore Cross International's oval-shaped GEO cages.


He serves as a consultant for Exactech's Opteform and is a member of the North American Spine Society.


Dr. Lorio earned his medical degree at Louisiana State University and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at State University of New York at Buffalo. His additional training includes a hand and microsurgery fellowship at The Hand Center of Western New York and the Simmons Spine Fellowship with Hanson Yuan, MD, at the Health Science Center Syracuse.
