Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. William Mitchell of Coastal Spine

William Mitchell, MD, is a spine surgeon at Mt. Laurel, N.J.-based Coastal Spine.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Mitchell serves on the board of directors for the North American Spine Society. He served as the program chair for the group’s annual meeting.

 

Dr. Mitchell is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons and American Medical Association. He is board certified in neurosurgery and specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery.

 

After earning his medical degree from University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles, Dr. Mitchell completed his residency at Philadelphia-based Thomas Jefferson University. He is also fellowship trained from Cleveland Clinic.
