Dr. Ibrahim is board certified in orthopedic and spine surgery, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is active in the development of new surgical technologies, and is collaborating with medical device manufacturers to assess their technologies for minimally invasive and trauma surgery.
Specializing in deformity and osteotomy, Dr. Ibrahim performs minimally invasive spine surgery and motion preserving surgery.
After receiving his medical degree from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine in Minneapolis, Dr. Ibrahim did a general surgery internship and an orthopedic surgery residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Ibrahim then completed a spine surgery fellowship at the University of California, San Diego.
