Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. William Watters of Houston Methodist

William Watters, MD, is a spine surgeon at Houston Methodist.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Watters serves on the board of directors for the North American Spine Society and American Board of Spine Surgery. He is the past president of the Texas Spine Society.

 

Dr. Watters also sits on the editorial advisory board for The Spine Journal and is a reviewer for the Journal of the Spinal Arthroplasty Society. He has authored numerous articles and book chapters on spinal disease.

 

After earning his medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston, Dr. Watters completed his residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr. Watters is board certified in orthopedic and spine surgery.
