Dr. Griffitt serves as a clinical assistant professor at the Madison-based University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health where he teaches minimally invasive spine surgery. His additionally areas of interests include spina bifida hydrocephalus, spine and brain tumors and compressed nerves.
Board certified in neurosurgery, Dr. Griffitt is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, North American Spine Society, AO Spine and Congress of Neurological Surgeons. He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
After earning his medical degree from the University Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Dr. Griffitt completed his residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Ill.
