Dr. Patel focuses his practice on cervical spine and neck surgery, minimally invasive and endoscopic spinal surgery and herniated disc surgery. He is actively involved in research, with a focused interest on tissue regeneration as it applies to spinal surgery. He also serves as section editor for the Orthopedics Knowledge Update published by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Patel earned his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and then completed a fellowship in spinal surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
