Dr. Peters focuses on back pain and sciatica from herniated lumbar discs and bulging discs with annular tears, cervical radiculopathy, scoliosis and spondylolisthesis. He has expertise in minimally invasive joint replacements, regenerative biologics, anterior cervical discectomy and fusion, anterior lumbar interbody fusion and cervical and lumbar kyphoplasty.
Dr. Peters is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He focuses on research involving minimally invasive surgical disc solutions and orthopedic products using human protein and growth factor materials for bone and tissue regeneration.
Dr. Peters earned his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Allegheny University-Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia and a fellowship in spine surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
