Dr. Lanman is world-renowned spinal surgeon with more than 30 years of experience in the field. He also experienced life on the other side of the scalpel when he underwent a spinal procedure himself.
His career began when he earned his medical degree with top honors from Evanston, Ill.-based Northwestern University. He completed his residency at UC Los Angeles before opening his own practice in Beverly Hills.
Dr. Lanman is a diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Lanman has been published in several peer-reviewed journals. He also has served as the principal medical investigator on numerous clinical trials concerning motion preserving surgeries and artificial disc replacement devices.
